Passl Health Initiative

Our Projects –
Improving Access to Healthcare Sustainably

Passl Health Initiative (PHI) is committed to improving access to medical care and essential medicines in a sustainable way. Together with local partner organisations, we develop healthcare projects that respond to people's actual needs and strengthen existing healthcare structures.

Our work covers various areas of healthcare, including access to essential medicines, primary healthcare, maternal and child health, paediatrics, prevention and support for people living with chronic diseases. Strengthening medical infrastructure, training local healthcare professionals and establishing reliable healthcare delivery processes may also form part of our projects.

We follow one guiding principle: We aim to strengthen existing healthcare systems, not replace them. Every project is therefore developed individually and carefully assessed in terms of medical necessity, feasibility and long-term impact.

PROJECT IN DEVELOPMENT

Uganda –
Community Health Access

In Uganda, Passl Health Initiative is currently exploring the development of a community-based healthcare project in Kaliro District. Together with a prospective local implementing partner, we are assessing opportunities to improve access to primary healthcare and essential medicines.

The focus is on the needs of the local population and on identifying how existing healthcare facilities and medical professionals can be effectively supported. The current project development phase aims to establish a viable concept that combines medical quality, organisational feasibility and financial responsibility.

The initiative is currently undergoing medical, financial and organisational assessment. Decisions regarding specific activities, project scope and potential implementation steps will only be made once this evaluation has been completed.

PHI places great importance on publishing only verified information. Once the project enters the implementation phase, we will provide updates on its progress and, subsequently, on measurable and verified results.

Responsible Project Development and Local Partnerships

Sustainable healthcare projects require careful planning, professional expertise and trusted collaboration. Passl Health Initiative therefore follows a structured approach to selecting and developing its projects.

Each project proposal is initially assessed based on actual medical needs, existing healthcare structures, and organisational and financial feasibility. Before entering into a partnership, we review potential partner organisations, including their legal status, professional competence, organisational structure and financial accountability.

PHI is not limited to specific countries or regions. The selection of future projects is guided by medical needs, the availability of suitable local partners, realistic implementation opportunities and the potential to make a sustainable contribution to healthcare.

Transparency and quality guide our work from the initial project idea through to the evaluation of results. We aim to develop projects that are responsibly funded, professionally monitored and implemented in close cooperation with local healthcare professionals.
